Dr. Julie Becker provides comprehensive eye exams for all ages, including special needs, from toddlers to seniors, treats ocular disease, and specializes in fitting multifocal and gas permeable contact lenses. She is an active member of the Illinois Optometric Association, the American Optometric Association, and AOA-PAC. Julie Becker, O.D., graduated from Illinois College of Optometry with her Doctorate. Prior to, she received her Bachelor's degree from Augustana College. While at the College of Optometry, she received her clinical training in contact lenses and pediatrics at the Illinois Eye Institute, ocular disease at Advocate Health Care with Dr. Richard Multack, and low vision at Hines VA Central Blind Rehabilitation Center, Adam Benjamin, Jr.- Jesse Brown VA Medical Center, and the Chicago Lighthouse. Beyond Dr. Becker's passion for optometry is her love of cooking, spending time with her 19-year-old twins and music. (She has been to Lollapalooza every year since 1994).
